The Hansen House observation tower designed by Czech architect Martin Reinisch is a permanent architectural entity with a dramatic presence. However, during Jerusalem Design Week 2022, its facade becomes momentary and transient. Exactly once every half hour, the observation tower grows a new façade, appearing momentarily and then disappears with the wind. Its architectural weight will be captured primarily by the lens of a swift photographer, and yet its validity is no less present than the skeleton it envelops.
