Depreciation is a space focused on the moment between erecting Jerusalem Design Week and its public launch. In this moment, we stand between the designs on display and the piles of waste that are a byproduct of their design and manufacturing efforts. In this moment we stop to examine the depreciation, and apply tools of the trade to tell the story of our waste and the space itself. Throughout the week visitors are invited to witness the labor that takes place within the space, observing how the space evolves from curated waste into useful items.
