The apparel and jewelry shown here attest to a coherent language of their application, however the nature of their use is open to interpretation and change through the jacket’s copper loops which allow movement of the pieces hanging from it. SITE NON SPECIFIC raises questions concerning the sense of belonging, displacement, and migration of body, matter, and object in the present age, as well as object-subject relations. The project comprises a collection of items found in the streets of New York, covered in plaster, and was first installed on a rooftop in Brooklyn where a performer altered the meaning of the different items by them on his/her body, thus changing the essence of the objects according to adornment and place.
