The exhibition Wild Rue at the Mamuta Art & Research Center presents new works by Avner Pinchover alongside a body of work he began working on in 2018. The starting point of the works lies in acts of violence that have aesthetic, poetic, and political power: Pinchover throws chairs at a drywall in an art gallery, throws stones in front of a transparent glass wall, throws cement on the historic wall of the Hansen House, or spits directly into the camera lens. A rock performance in the age of Covid-19.
